Singer songwriter Jake Quickenden has been singing and writing his own songs from a young age. Jake began his media career by appearing on The X Factor in 2012 and returned again in 2014. He has made a number of other media appearances, including working as a presenter on the Chart Show TV channel and staring in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Jake Quickenden first took part in The X Factor in 2012 where he reached the judges’ houses stage with mentor Nicole Scherzinger. He unfortunately just missed out on a place in the live shows, however Jake returned to The X Factor in 2014. He was again in the “Boys” category with Mel B as his mentor this time. At judges’ houses, he was put through to the live shows, but was unfortunately voted out in week 3.
After his success in The X Factor Jake Quickenden was asked to appear in ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Jake entered the celebrity jungle on Day 5 of the competition with former politician Edwina Currie. After winning over the nation’s hearts Jake Quickenden was crowned runner-up to Carl ‘Foggy’ Fogarty.
