TEENSTAR MUSIC INDUSTRY FEEDBACK – MID-TEEN

Billie-Reanne – Good song choice! Really interesting, unique voice. Working with a vocal coach to improve your projection and diction would help. Good use of dynamics. You have great potential.

The Nerds – Really like both of your voices, they compliment each other really well. Loved the original song, you NEED to try some harmonies to bring another dynamic to your performance.

Victoria-Jayne – Lovely image which really suited your act. You gave a superb performance and good guitar playing. Lovely silky vocals, they’re effortless. Ensure the audience can tell you’re enjoying yourself. Maybe drop the guitar right back at a pinnacle point in the song to add impact.

Katie Bosworth – Amazing vocals for your age, lovely tone, impressive range and really well controlled vocal runs! The performance improved as it went on, remember to start strong. Now work on trying to find your image as an act. Liked the piano accompaniment but feel like it needs more to take it to the next level.

Sophie Jean Parkinson – Unfortunately Let It Go has been the song of the tour so we’ve heard it so many times! Perhaps try picking a pop song and making it your own.  However that said, you did a great job. Very powerful vocals for your age which you controlled well, and you have a great tone and clear diction.

Danielle Parker – Wow, what a great rendition of the song! Very unique. Your vocals are incredibly strong and soulful.  Massive star potential. Gave me shivers. Keep this up and the music business will be chasing after you.

Originate – Love the act name. The harmonies need a little work to get to the next level. Great chemistry between you guys. There’s potential here, but I think you both need to work with a vocal coach to work on strengthening your voice.

Bethany Handson – Star performance. Your vocals are great when you’re belting. Liked the mash up. Very emotional and you showed it.

Emily Keeton – Lovely rich, soulful tone. However unfortunately you seemed to be out of key, a vocal coach could help you with that.

Danielle Leigh McGreevy – Very captivating performance. Very unique. You look like a star. Great vocals. Music needs you, keep at it.

Amy Ridley – Lovely meaning behind the song. Good guitar playing, it really complimented your performance. Being more adventurous with your songs keeps the audience’s attention. Strong professional performance.

Olivia Irvin – Absolutely amazing voice! Not one bad note. Confident performance, well sang! 10/10!

TEENSTAR 2014 HUDDERSFIELD MUSIC COMPETITION FEEDBACK – MID-TEEN

Ella Jay – Great entrance onto stage, followed by a confident performance. Fantastic vocals, very powerful and well controlled.

Chloe – A star performance from start to finish. Great image – really suits you as an act. Loved the reggae version of the track – very different and refreshing after we hear this song so many times! Your vocals are on point.

Olivia Dixon – Lovely vocals as always. Don’t look so nervous! A heartfelt performance. Work on your falsetto.

Holly Bowron – Lovely sweet vocals. On some of the higher notes they faltered a little, so work with a vocal coach to work on this. A good look for TV and a good recording star.

Samantha Jayne – Really good original song! Very catchy and it suited your voice very well. Really strong vocals, loved your vocal inflections. You sang the song with a lot of passion. Need to enjoy it more, rather not looking worried about the performance.

Kayaz – Well done on getting the audience involved! Very refreshing act to have in the middle of the show. Image needs to be stronger but love the hair! Good rapping ability. Great image, individuality 10/10!

Oliver Pinder – Really enjoyed your original song! Like the instrumental set-up. Love those open barr chords on the guitar. Good vocals and you injected a whole load of passion into the performance.

Beth – High standard of singing. Love the image. Well done for writing your own stuff. It’s good but needs a stronger hook to capture interest.

Jenna – Strong passionate voice and you use it. Great image. Good stage work, maybe try a bigger song next time.

Kayla Agostini – Lovely performance. Great rich, soulful vocals. Great song choice for you. You let the song build nicely and made great use of your different vocal tones.

Emmie Craft – Loved the instrumental set-up, it worked really well and it was a great rendition of the song. Nice touch have the band. It’s a happy song, don’t forget to smile!

Antonia – Very unique and interesting vocal. Like Marmite I think! Lovely image. Great individual take on the song. Took the stage and made it yours.

Bethany Shaw – Lovely take on the song. Great use of facial expressions and body language to convey the emotional impact of the song. Sang with feeling from the heart. Lovely belted notes. Very well controlled.

The Dukes – You guys look and sound great together as an act! Well done for staying so composed despite the technical problems. Great harmonies and your voices all complement each other fantastically. Brilliant original song.
