Dance Jam - Great music, lots of energy, nice lines and staging. Some timing issues with younger members, so keep practising hard. A passionate performance, but on the final line, shout it out!
Yasmine - Try to avoid black clothing on a black stage, however good use of the stage and you performed to audiencewell. Sweet voice, but try to pick songs you can connect with more, click here for the importance of song choice and click here for more tips on how to sing with emotion.
Ashton Winstanley - Good energy, we could tell you loved dancing which was great to see! Use the stage more and play to your strengths….cute factor!
Osca Erskine - Good interaction with the audience. Once you relaxed into the performance you seemed to enjoy it more, but try not to nervously bop from side to side. Click here for tips on building stage confidence as a singer. Try to avoid black clothes on a black stage and use the whole stage width.
Abbie Riley - Great energy and good image. Try not to stand too far back on the stage as you can be lost in the shadows. Use stage width within your performance instead, (would rather you went side to side than back to front). Worked the crowd well, well done!
Jeshika Jaynes - Your image was appropriate for age, but unfortunately you seemed to struggle with getting the right key for the backing track. Make sure you pick songs suited to your range. The song was too low so you struggled to get right pitch, click here for the importance of song choice. Also make sure you sing into the mic and not over the top of it, click here for more on microphone technique for singers.
Olivia Jackson - A floaty costume may have added visually to the performance. Don’t forget to use stage width and try not to rush the choreography, every move counts. Work on your facial expressions and your projection out to the audience. Interesting choreography, but work for more extension and breadth of movement.
Brooke Burke - A born performer! Great stage presence and good use of stage, nice to see the mic come off the stand. Performed to the audience, controlled the audience. Great swagga and great image! Older acts could learn a lot from this young lady. Vocals can still be developed and improved, so keep working hard.
Bonnie Bullock - Great use of the stage, amazingly flexibility and lovely image. Song choice didn’t quite match the performance though. Be careful not to get lost behind a speaker. Well presented, well executed. I was at ease watching you.
Maizie Hunter - Smart image, but not sure 100% it suited your age. Performed to the audience a little, but occasionally performed to the back of the room. You performed visually, but you need to work on facial expressions. Use the stage width a little more and pick a song more suited to your range.
Katie Atkinson - Nice country twang to your vocal, well done for carrying on with the perfoemance even though it was the wrong song to start with. Nice to see the mic coming off the stand and using stage, click here for stage performance tips for singers. Be carefull not to bop side to side too much though.
Ellen Erskine - Great image, and nice use of stage. Good use of levels. Technically coming along nicely, work for a little more flexibility and breadth of movement.
TWINKLE - Great image and good spacing. Make sure you don’t point your mics towards the speakers when not singing, as that creates feedback. Ensure you don’t over-use your hands and don’t nervously play with your hair, click here for stage performance tips for singers. Some nice harmonies. Have more fun!
Amelia - Image was age appropriate. Make sure you sing into the mic, and don’t move away from it too much, click here for more on microphone technique for singers. Try to have some fun, performing as much as you can will help develop your confidence, click here for tips on building stage confidence as a singer. Nice tone to your voice but we would have liked to see you take the mic off the stand and use the stage.
Hollie Jayne Creighton - Great use of stage, amazing commitment to the piece, scary but in a good way! Great image. Work for a little more control and try to keep energy throughout. Very dramatic, well done!
Charlie - Lovely dress, and nice bouncy music. Performed visually, but use the stage a little more. Remember to smile at the end! A confident performance, but make sure you look like you’re enjoying it and work on dynamics to develop further.
Connie Fisher - Great choreography. Image was good, but would have liked to see you keep the floaty top on to add to the visual. Great ability and technique. A captivating performance, well done.
Libby Latimer - Costume great, good energy and good use of stage. Confident performer, but the dance was stronger than the vocals so try to work on that. Working with a singing teacher could be very beneficial for you – click here for for tips on singing teachers and finding the right singing teacher.
Missi - Image was great! Good use of the stage, but remember to perform from the moment you step on stage. Unfortunately it was the wrong song choice, as you seemed to struggle with the key, click here for the importance of song choice and click here for more tips on how to sing with emotion.
Rebekah Grace - Performed visually, but we would have liked to have seen you take the mic off the stand at some point, click here for stage performance tips for singers. Open your eyes a little more to connect with your audience. Crystal clear vocals, but going forward up your image and use stage more.
Amelia - Good eye contact and nice vocal. Use the stage width more, don’t stay rooted to one spot, so you perform visually more, click here for stage performance tips for singers. Lovely tone, but try to relax more, click here for tips on building stage confidence as a singer.
Olivia Crawford - Wow! Loved the cover, such a stunning vocal. Great to see the mic coming off the stand. Good eye contact, you performed to the audience well. Confident performance, but if you enjoy performing remember to smile when you walk on. Would like to see a fresher image, but the performance was great!
Emoji (Misfits) - Great costume, but you need to work hard on your timing. Have confidence, don’t look around for reassurance of what you should be doing. Cover mistakes by jus continuing and not bringing attention to them.
Abi Westerman - Image appropriate for age, but could be improved. Nice tone to your voice, however we were not keen on the song choice, click here for the importance of song choice. Use the stage width more in your performance and work on facial expressions. Embrace how special you are!
Abbie Tweddell - We could see your nerves too much, you have a lovely voice so relax and have fun, click here for tips on building stage confidence as a singer. Image – we would want something a bit more stage ready. Be careful not to pull away from the mic too much, click here for more on microphone technique for singers.
Abi Gray - Have confidence in yourself, don’t show us that you’re thinking about what’s coming up, know your backing track inside out. God eye contact in parts, and nice tone to your voice. Use the stage width more, click here for stage performance tips for singers. Nice smile at the end!
Ellen - Good use of the stage, you performed visually but your facial expressions can be improved. Unfortunately you struggled vocally in places, so pick something easier for you to sing, click here for the importance of song choice and click here for more tips on how to sing with emotion. Image needs to be improved, as it was a little too casual.
Lisa - Intense and captivating performance. Loved the music! Great use of stage and amazing control. Creative choreography, well done!
Ella Brown - Great to hear an original song, we could tell you connected with the lyrcis, which was great. The song needs a little work on chorus to get the hook more catchy and memorable. Looked great, good image and good use of stage space.
Jacee Pink - Best vocals we’ve heard from you so far, but have some fun! We want to see that you enjoy doing this. Good use of stage and nice bit of choreography.
Sasha and David - Make sure you cut the jingle intro on the backing track. Good song choice for you, but drop the American accent if you’re not American. Use the stage width and perform to your audience more, but do bounce off each other for energy.
Lola - Very passionate performance, you used the stage well. Good facial expressions and good music. Try to disguise your concentration but great emotion and technique, well done
Rosie Allenby - Great song choice, loved your take on the song. Great vocals, you stayed true to your voice. Let the music take over you, relax, feel it and enjoy it! Make sure you perform to the audience and not over their heads.
Hollie Robinson - The dress worked well for the song. Good eye contact, you performed to the audience well. Nice country twang to your voice and great control. Use the stage width more. Song choice could be better to show you off more, click here for the importance of song choice.
Olivia - Great flexibility, good use of the whole stage, just don’t get lost behind a speaker. Good contrast in styles. Work on fluidity of movement to develop further.
Eliza - Nice smile when you walked on. Good confidence and your image was age appropriate and great. Performed visually with great vocals. Use stage width more and be careful not to sound to Americanised. A joy to listen to, well done!
MELODY 5 - Looked great, in sync but different. You didn’t sound too confident with opening vocals, but you dealt with the mic issue well. Take care with support in lower register. Key way too low on verses. Good interaction betwenn you.
Alana Ward - Great costume and a very passionate performance. You told the story well with great energy. Good use of stage. Fantastic musicality, great emotion and creative use of space, well done!
Molly Scott - You have such a powerhouse of a vocal, a natural talent! Image was great and it was a good use of stage. You performed to the audience well.
Tahnee - Image - great, stage ready and age appropriate. Performed visually and to the audience . Vocals need some work in places, but there’s natural talent there. Working with a singing teacher could be very beneficial for you – click here for for tips on singing teachers and finding the right singing teacher.
Dylan - Great costume, great music, great flexibility and technique. Work on facial expressions, don’t let us see that you’re think about whats about to happen, or that you’re nervous. Got a bit ‘samey’ in the end, so work on the dynamics to keep it interesting.
Elisha Lang - Amazing vocal, loved the backing dancers and choreography but it needed more passion. You were great, but your body language says you don’t want to be there at times, work on facial expression, click here for more tips on how to sing with emotion.
Seven Performance Company - Interesting concept and choreography and great story telling. Loved the creative use of yourselves and great costume. Make sure you’re committed to every single movement. Work out if you’re smiling or moody, not a mix of both. All performers need to stay in character. Work a little more on control of lift sections and partner work.
Luke Scott - Looked great. Vocal potential but it was not the right song for you, play to your strengths, click here for the importance of song choice. Use the stage at some point and try to relax more.
Kate Hannah - Good facial expressions and good use of stage. Loved the contrast between lyrical, hip hop and contemp into your popping section. Up your image to match the performance.
