Cameo Williams – Good expression would look to potentially work the dynamics more, vary the projection and tone even more. You have a good tone and need to commit more to the performance going forward. A very good start to the song with lovely timing.
Ffion – Your diction is very clear which has a sound of a classic background. Facial expression was good but look to use that stage and commit to the emotion in the song, click here for tips on how to sing with emotion. Good eye contact with the audience which helped us to engage with you. Remember to perform during the instrumentals rather than leaving the performance empty at that point. A really nice image and outfit suited you.
Kendra Kasibante – You have a lovely tone but need to give more dynamics to the vocal otherwise remains on the same level throughout. If you are going to sing the backing adlibs make sure you change it around. Also take care to focus on your timing as it went wandering at times. Performance wise it was very static click here for more on improving stage presence. Would have liked to see a bit more energy on stage.
Tronix – Vocally sounded nice and in time but would like to have seen more dynamic harmonies. Performance wise needs more than just changing places on stage. Could have done with a quicker tempo as felt a little slow. Also as a group need to ensure image and performance are a cut above the rest, click here for tips on singing groups. Solo parts were good at times but harmonies need some work.
Sarah Ikumu – Very difficult to impress with such an iconic song by an iconic artist, click here for more on good audition songs. Good commitment to the song and you had a good unique look. Like you made the breakdown a little different click here for more on how to do music covers. The slow end was really good with lots of potential overall.
Katie D – You have a sweet vocal, try and now develop expression in the face and conveying emotion click here more on facial expressions and gestures whilst singing and adding that to the performance. You have a smiley face and I'm sure with more performance you can develop this easily. It was a really good song choice.
Stephanie Carr – Always a good start picking a song that is a classic but not covered too much but you did waiver out of tune on occasions so important you focus on being in key. Work with a good vocal coach and they will be able to develop this easily. Performance wise look to commit more to the song and use the stage.
Saloni Solo – Great your moving around and using the stage but it’s important you get your breathing and mic control on point as your volume of your vocals are inconsistent as a result click here for more on microphone techniques. Expression wise stop looking so cross all the time and look to act the emotion of the song which on the whole is a fun song. Great energy though throughout.
Chloe Hurst – Super tone with character and rasp to your vocal. Good eye contact which was spot on for such a sensitive song choice. Not the sure the song choice was the right one, click here for more on good audition songs. More experience needed but overall a good job, so well done.
Emily Burnie – Had the right idea with using the stage just take care to get the timing spot on as sometimes just a fraction out with the performance moves. Watch your breathing as that started to affect your timing so work on performing and singing together more, click here for breathing exercises for singing.
Laura – Vocally you are good but you need to perform more and develop your performance as you didn’t convey any emotion within the performance or facially click here for more on facial expressions and gestures whilst singing. More energy is required for such a song which was not delivered.
Chloe – Get close to that mic as it’s affecting your projection. Don’t be afraid to use your hands and perform more. A good vocal coach will also assist you in your vocal control, projection and tuning to be even better. Click here for more on improve stage presence in your performance. Song wise it’s important you pick a song that brings out the sweeter tone in your range click here for more on good audition songs.
Megan Carlile – Good to see you use the eyes to convey emotions and expressions but perhaps less is more sustaining expressions for longer rather than changing on each phrase. The mash up could have blended better the right idea but not instantly obvious as songs to work together click here for more creating music mashups.
Lauren Hurst - You have a powerful vocal but difficult to show personality when you do a show number as you need to be that character and not yourself. Click here for more on good audition songs and also click here for tips on how to do music covers. Tighter mic control will make your projection even better! The performance needed more emotion and commitment.
Tiegan – Nice tone but it needed more commitment to the performance and use of the stage. Click here more on facial expressions and gestures whilst singing. Watch timing at times but got better as the song went on.
Phoebe Goodburn – Great song choice. A great performance, but do watch the eyes. Very natural – get the audience involved, especially if there’s instrumentals during the song, click here for more on instrumentals and stage performance tips Careful with your mic control! You needed to take the song up a notch because it was all one level.
Penny Jennings – Nice outfit! Emotive performance in places which was nice. There were a few moments when the nerves got the best of you, click here for tips on overcoming performance anxiety. Beautiful song. Like the choice of song. Well recovered when you forgot a couple of words.
Phoebe Mullard – Great image. Beautiful guitar work. Your confidence grew at you reached the end of the performance, which was nice to see. Great lyrical content. Work on your diction so that all your words are clean and crisp, click here for more on singing diction.
Belle – Love the image. Sweet performance and vocal. Nice thrills, control and power. Love the husky tones. You’ve got great diction. Nice interpretation of a very emotive song. Use the stage, click here for tips on using the stage presence.
KT Jessica – Strong vocal and opening. Not sure of the dance moves but still a good performance. A very technical performance, you had fun with this.
Emma Nicole – Hard song for a female to sing, so good work! Great image. Loved the country twang in your voice in the chorus. Try to show us more emotion to connect more with the song, click here for how to sing with emotion.
Rhiannon – We’ve heard this song so many times today, it’s important to pick a song that helps you stand out. Click here for tips on good audition songs. Great use of the stage. Beautifully emotive. You definitely caught the audience by the heart strings.
Amy – Loved your gentle voice and your overall style. The song was nice too and a very enjoyable performance. Gorgeous tonality. Good use of the eyes to connect with the audience.
Sola – guitar tuning effected your performance, click here for tips on how to tune your guitar. Great opening. Needs more attitude and emotion in the performance. Got better as you got more comfortable in the performance.
