Luisa Pimentel - Good opening to the show, controlled and composed, technically secure. Scope for greater dynamic shape and need to find your style. Much potential here though. Great performance. Work on your mic control, click here for microphone techniques. Great song choice!
Miss Brodie Leigh – Expressive performance. Really liked the image, it suited the song well. To take your performance to the next level, try to use more of the stage during your performance, click here for stage performance tips. Great end note! Big song for you and you sang it so well!
Mollie Neal – You’ve got a good range. Nice connection to the song! Some very positive elements. Great use of the stage. Nice dramatic performance.
Caitlin - Tentative and understandably a little nervous which affected tone at the beginning, but this settled, click here for tips on how to sing with confidence. Good image. Clear promise here. Careful of your song choice, click here for good audition songs.
Amy Fullanger - Some security of presence. Really good song choice. Keep up with the training to help you develop your vocals, click here for more on the importance of vocal training. Gaining some performance experience will only help you to improve further. You have lots of potential!
Amelia Titchard - Great attempt Amelia. Aim to gain momentum, add wider expression to the performance, and click here for facial expressions and gestures whilst singing. Don’t be afraid to have the confidence to develop a greater dynamic range! Good mash up on well-known songs!
Millie-Mae - Great attention to image! You made good use of stage. Vocal delivery painted the words. Good interpretation of the song. Try to move to upper range with greater intensity / projection when shaping in this style, click here for tips on voice projection. You have the confidence of someone a lot older. Love the effort you made with your image.
Erin Leah - Really enjoyed the attempt to convey the lyrics, and tonal control was good, particularly given your age and stage of development. Strong eye contact helped to create a strong connection with the audience. Watch your breathing though; click here for breathing exercises for singing.
James Jackson - Entertaining storyteller approach. Your vocals are good. Make sure there’s a relationship between your style and your song; click here for tips on music synergy and image. Leah Chapman - What a fantastic attempt. You timed the words well, and delivered the song so bravely. Well done. Keep up with the training, click here for the importance of vocal training. You should be proud of what you did today.
Emily Ball – You’re a story teller, liked the accompaniment (nice edge), and image worked. Some promising elements here. Vocal tone and mature delivery. Careful with the mic control as it can affect the quality of your voice, click here for microphone techniques.
Beau - In your style you approached this well, and vocally delivered with measure and thought. Another mature display. Well done Beau. Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll go far. Excellent voice!
Saffron - Split the judges! Good image. Well done for trying audience participation, that’s always a risk, click here for audience participation. Your tone control is good. You’re beginning to learn how to use the stage; you just need to keep developing it.
