Glasgow’s Got Talent: Music industry judges provided feedback to the pre-teen singers who came to prove Glasgow’s got talent at the Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow. The TeenStar Regional Finals saw the best teenage singers from Glasgow and its surrounding area take to the stage in the bid to show that Glasgow’s got talent and to gain a place in the Area Finals.

Erin Laughlin – Yes, emotion in a sing! Love your attitude towards the Disney song. The song you’re choosing is kind of happy, you should smile more. You have a great smile! Lovely voice! Make sure you look up at the audience, click here for stage performance tips. Keep working, you’ve got talent! Slight pitching issues but great confidence; learn how to anchor those big notes!
Kerys – Great image, good use of the stage and a very confident performance! Need to work on your breathing technique, click here for breathing exercises for singing. Melody was nice. Add some more energy and oomph! Think you could be a little more confident on stage but you know what you’re doing, click here for how to sing with confidence.
Kirsten – Good song choice suited your voice well! There was some point in the song where you were a bit static but you picked up later in the song. Put a bit more into the performance, stage performance tips. Lovely breathy tone in lower range, develop the breath in your higher range now!
Harley Coote – Nice vocal tone and control. Work on your image so it suits your performance, click here for more on music synergy and image. Lots of emotion in the performance which is good to see! Good guitar playing and passionate vocals! Good song choice. Connect a little deeper with the words next time, you’re one to watch!
Grace – You looked so happy up on stage, you’ve got a great smile and had all the judges smiling! Watch your eye level; the more you look at the audience, the more of a connection you make! The vocals were nice but show us a performance too! Click here for stage performance tips.
Fleur – Nice vocal tone. The song choice has attitude! The song suited your voice through ‘ready or not.’ It would have been nice to see you move around the stage with that song choice, click here for stage performance tips. If you’re not a dancer, don’t show a dance song. Your connection with the audience was great.
Carly – There is a really nice tone there – just needs to develop more. Good use of the stage. You could see the nerves in the performance, don’t let them get to you, click here for how to deal with your nerves. Lot of emotion in your vocals, which is great!
Penny Stephens – Good performance and lovely vocals! Put a little more emotion into the performance, show us how the song feels, click here for more on how to sing with emotion. Wow to the choice of song, Little Mix is a very vocal based band but I think you made it work! Your tuning is perfect. You have a stunning tone at the end of your breath, keep developing this!
Murrin – Nice performance. Make sure you put your own stamp on the song, click here for how to do music covers. Good finish! You’ve got a strong vocal, let’s make it stronger! Great image, you looked very comfortable up there.
Hollie Robinson – Absolutely amazing!! Nice image and vocal range. Massive improvement from last year. I love that song and you made me love it more. Lovely confident performance. Used your vocal range well.
LOXIE – Gorgeous harmony. Make sure all 3 are performing same levels! Showstoppers! Great energy, great fun and strong vocals too. AMAZING!!!
Chiara Smith – Great interaction with the audience, so much passion. Good use of the stage and great vocal control. The delivery of the song was great. I felt the emotion you brought to the song. Stunning top notes!
Keira Swift – WOW! Stunning vocal! A big song and you did it very well. Good control of the power! Brave song choice but you nailed it! For 11 years old, that was great. A massive star in the making, every year you get better and better!
Ellie – Brilliant finish to the show! Love the swag attitude, love the whole performance. I could feel Jessie J from you! If you write songs and perform like that, you could go far!
