Jason – You play the character so well, we enjoyed your use of the stage and loved your facial expressions! If you keep developing you’re destined for the West End. Just look to push and develop the dynamics of the song even more to give greater range and depth to the performance. E-Kidz – Loved the song choices! Your continued use of facial expressions was great, and brought character to your performance. So well drilled and tight, loved the use of props and the music worked brilliantly to keep the flow and energy going throughout. You’re all extremely good performers!
Adam Cusack – Super vocal power, with a very relaxed stage presence. A very big song performed with confidence. You have a truly amazing vocal, that tells a story. Ellie Rose – You performed with so much grace and your use of stage was excellent. We would love to see more of your story as your ability is fantastic. You have loads of potential! Loved the control, super flexibility, and effortless grace.
Archie – Humorous song choice and good to use of props - naughty lad throwing the papers in the bushes, certainly wouldn’t pay for that delivery! Good dynamics and range. You took on the character with confidence. Try to be careful on your diction, but this could be because of how tricky the song was! Click here for the importance of diction. Excel Juniors – Looked great with excellent costumes and liked the moody start. You took on the characters well. Felt liked it could have been even better with some more dynamic moves, levels and formation and greater intensity with the energy. This would give your performance more diversity – thus being more engaging.
Amelia Rose – A very hard song to take on, but you performed it well! Your outfit was stunning and you backed it up with a stunning vocal too. You lost tune in places, so work on your support to better strengthen your vocals. Look to develop your power to be even better and pack an even bigger punch at the top end. Finlay Holmes – Love the dramatic music! The contrast worked really well. You have an amazing strength ability, super control and again worked well with the music to give execute super timing! You did well to incorporate this with your use of stage! Look at working on your technique for cleaner lines!
Brooke Burke – You are extremely confident, what a natural performer on stage, you are oozing talent! You have a great stage presence; your confidence is through the roof. Not sure on asking the audience involvement, click here for when too and when not to ask for the audience participation. Great performance, you are a superstar in the making!
Presto Performing Arts – A very dramatic opening – it had us hooked! Loved the song choices and the start with the lights; some super ideas! As dancers you are going to develop in time. More movement required around using the stage and perhaps be more dynamic. Try and incorporate more facial expressions into your performance, this will be more engaging for your audience. A great, fun filled dance workout. With a little bit more energy you will make an awesome dance troop. Keep working hard.
Erin Leah – You have great ability and you performed well. You do need to believe in yourself more, click here for tips on building stage confidence for singers. Liked your use of the stage; look to develop your expression even more to give more emotion.
Kia McDonald – Great facial expressions! It was incredibly engaging. You performed with such confidence, with good you used all the stage. You’re still so young, in years to come with practice you will have some great opportunities to broaden your talent – we’re sure of it. You will be a star!
Ethan Cross – Good energy and moves in the performance. Vocally you can improve to be even better; get closer to that microphone as you lost a lot of projection being too far away from the microphone, click here for more on microphone technique. On your dance section feel free to hit moves harder as ability is there. A very confident performance with the audience interaction.
Pulse – Fabulous music and look, with lots of attitude and impact on stage. Performance went to a different level when switched to the Zara Larson song which showed how contemporary you were. We would love to see more individuality, bring us something that makes you different to anyone else – something we’ve not seen before!
Eva Rose – Great individuality and brilliant song. Love your concept of image, you are very unique – this makes you different to other performers! Click here for more on the importance of image. Great to hear you doing and that you are confident to do original songs at your age, this will only develop to be even stronger!
Hazel – Sung beautifully with emotion! Good focus and expression you bring to the performance. You have a stunning voice. Work on the choruses to really work on the build-up. Be good to develop the vocal to push the top notes with more impact. Also consider giving more dynamics to the expression so it's not just the pain in the song but the optimism too! Very powerful singer!
Rivmix Dance Academy – Great music, story and concept. A stronger technique is needed – this will come with practice. It was a very creative piece, there were some great ideas. Collectively great to see you develop original and inventive concepts to take your performance to a different level. The performance was full of action packed energy difficult to keep up with the full content presented.
Tara – Brilliant commitment to character, liked the concept and image. Maybe the balance of the performance could have been developed to be less floor based, but you performed this routine perfectly – well done!
Jeremiah Emmanuel – You have a unique rasp to your vocal and you are varying your dynamics in your vocal well. Great song choice and crowd interaction. Boombaya - SO Reps – Liked that you selected great music not normally used. Good energy, with a fierce stage presence and you kept the intensity going well! Your outfits were great and really added to the performance!
Katie Louise – A beautiful song choice which you reached the high notes with clarity and strength. Taylor Elwell – Great to use all the stage, but you maybe stayed to the back of the stage too much, focus on remaining in the front centre more during the performance as that is where the lights are focussed. Would have been good to see you demonstrate more of a flow and connection to the music and emotion of the song. Overall it was a beautiful dance!
Liam Price – Your confidence and stage presence is your strength, but you have the vocal to back it up also. Great to see you try something a little different and make the song your own. Just a little cooling of stage craft would be perfect, as you settled after a nervy start to blossom.
Scandalous Didi’s – Great concept, liked that you change it up within the concept too. Look to making costumes a little more realistic to add impact to the routine. Overall a good, fun performance!
Libby Latimer – You are very versatile and the only act that was a genuine all rounder in both dance and singing! You have a great voice and great characterisation throughout your performance. Well done!
Tribal Modern Dance – Great performance, an enjoyable concept all the way through. Super use of props and loved your costume! You showed real presence whilst on stage, showing personality throughout your performance. You have great potential for the future!
Livi Khattar – A nervy start which luckily you settled quickly, cllick here for more on how to conquer performance nerves! Love your vocal tone and you use dynamics well. Both your voice and confidence grew throughout the performance, perhaps to improve even more, work on adding in a story to your performance!
Slay3rZ – Routine was well thought through and interpretation to the music was spot on. Great to see a variety of styles in your performance performed with a strong technique. Overall a great routine – well done!
Sophie Dundas – A very mature performance, beautifully sang. You controlled the vocal and your stage presence superbly. To improve the performance even more perhaps work on using the stage more, cllick here for tips of stage performance.
Sugar Rush – Liked that the performance themed around a story which gave us the connection to the performance. Volumes on the backing music were well worked to give impact. Performance showed a fierce routine with great facial expressions!
Theresa Delaney – Great song choice, it challenged you and showed your range which you kept in check throughout. Some notes you hit were particularly sweet. Surge – Strong performance with some super collective moves. The dancers connected well to the emotion in the song. Performance showed beautiful power and a strong story line throughout! Keep up the good work!
Excel Teens – Really contemporary performance with great movement between the performers to work collectively. Great outfits and energy. Lost a little tightness when brought out the pink towels which could have been sharper, but other than that an overall enjoyable performance!
Albert Stott – You play the character so well, if you keep developing you’re destined for the West End! Alana Ward – An action-packed routine which was exhausting just watching it! Stunning costume and great use of stage space, just look to work on facial expressions more to add an extra flair to your performance!
Annabel – Such a stunning crisp vocal and you use the full dynamic range to give character and emotion to the full. The song tells a story which you convey with the perfect expression and sensitivity it deserves. Beautifully performed and an overall very emotive piece! Well done.
Fierce – Some really good, different chorography with a great mix of styles. Liked the flipping from song to song which kept the interest going throughout. Great use of attitude shown and timing was in-sync throughout. Outfits looked great and really added to the performance.
Beaux Beats – Nice balance to the group and you work well together with the routines. Sometimes there are minor pitching issues which more performance and practice should iron out, click here for some tips on achieving the best vocal performance. Girl in the red jacket is one of the stronger vocals in the group, so maybe consider supporting the strengths of the group.
DUPLEX – A strong opening, with lots of personality shown throughout the performance. The light denim blue and white made for a striking and fresh image. Super expression, but could have done with tightening up the routine in some places. Great song choices used!
Chantee – You have a very mature vocal which you needed for such a bold song choice! Hopefully going forward we can see you being creative with the covers and make them your own, click here for more tips on performing creative covers. Good movement and expression to convey the emotion in the song.
Impact – A strong and dramatic performance – you definitely made an ‘impact’ on stage! You put together some risky moves that could easily have gone wrong but you pulled them off! A well-rehearsed performance to ensure the routine worked well. Work on more foundation in styles to improve your performance further!
Eliza – Great to see you conveying the emotion in the song. Remember to embrace the positivity and optimism within the song, even in a line or phrase otherwise you don’t give enough dynamics or portray the story of the song on point. Georgie & Molly – A beautiful performance. You stepped up from the previous rounds to give us your best performance of the competition! The splits whilst being held in the air showed great control and power. An elegant routine and a pleasure to watch!
Eliza Mai – A very catchy song. You have a cool image! Song wise at times it felt a little crowded, click here to find out more on delivery and dictation whilst performing. Perhaps consider not having as much going on instrumentally. Liked how you came away from the keyboard to work the stage!
KSD – A strong performance with a great theme. A well-coordinated routine that maybe could have benefitted from some more variation as a routine and a change in tempo at times. Some of the lifting moves were some of the best of the day.
Gabby – You have good presence and a good vocal with excellent phrasing. Great subject matter within the song. Would love to see a song that could really challenge your vocal range.
Jaiden Sayer – Great that you conveyed the story of the music, but it felt like you needed more impact early in the routine to bring the performance to life straight away. You have super ability but it would have been good to see that from the start. You have a great amount potential – keep it up!
Hollie – Beautiful voice, with brilliant use of vocal phrasing. Great to see you conveying the emotion in the song. Nu-Lite – Good energy and great to see such a diverse age range performing together. Nice technique could do with adding extra moves and styles to bring more dynamics. Some of your spacing and timing drifted at times – keep practising to perfect this. Great work!
Katie Clark – A nervy start, but your confidence got on track quickly, click here for more on dealing with nerves. Song choice was slightly dated although you sung it well. Consider singing a more current contemporary song, click here for more on the importance of song choice. Overall the vocal was strong – a good performance.
James Afroman – You can’t take your eyes of this guy, constantly makes you smile. So diverse in styles of dance! Great choice in song and performed with pure confidence. Very entertaining with a great future ahead!
Kezia – Very strong vocal, super rasp to your tone and good commitment. Just take care with your microphone technique as at times you aren’t keeping the mic close enough to your mouth thus causing a loss of projection. Scandalous Productions – A great engaging performance, with a haunting concept which kept us on the edge of our seats. Some big moves excellently pulled off. Great start and end, interacting some of the performers in the audience. To improve even more be sure the concept and choreography are perfected fully, but a great performance overall.
Little Voices Big Stars – Lovely vocals, perhaps look to practice a little more coordinating the moves so there is more of a collective routine. A good choice in song mash up which was refreshing to watch, click here for more on song mashups.
Seven Performance Company – Costumes and make-up looked fantastic and loved the centre routine where you all did hand stands from the centre. Few wobbles in places which can be ironed out with practice and precision, but overall a well worked entertaining routine.
Melody 5 – Well done for performing original material, with really good vocals. Watch your spaces on stage, needs more direction, this could be a little tighter. You interact and coordinate your image well as a group. Audience participation is maybe something you look to do third or fourth song into a gig with a larger fan base click here for when to or not to ask for audience participation. Overall, a good performance.
Morgan Metson – You have a powerful vocal and good to see you conveying the emotion in the song remember to embrace the positivity and optimism within the song which this song has in abundance! Storm – A good performance with a captivating story to it. Not sure on the levels of the backing track the little child was far too loud and detracted from the tempo of the song; should have been lower and in the background more. It detracted from the sentiment of performance which was a shame as it was a lovely theme and idea!
Rebecca Luckham – Good stage presence and a very confident performer. Good to see you conveying the emotion in the song, but remember to embrace the positivity and optimism within the song doesn’t all have to be harsh and hard even in a line or phrase otherwise you don’t give enough dynamics or portrait the story of the song on point. Lovely vocal tone and choice in song – perhaps needed a beat behind the song to pick up the energy of the performance slightly.
Urban Out Steppers – Great energy levels, it needed a bit more punch at the start but warmed up nicely in the end. Performance got better as it went on. Try to use more facial expressions throughout to really engage with your performance.
Will Daniels – You are quite a performer, but sometimes slightly karaoke in parts. If you want to progress as an artist in your own right then consider performing a creative cover or better still writing your own material – we would love to see more of Will himself as an artist! A-Game – Well coordinated as a group, however if there was meant to be a story surrounding the performance it wasn’t so obviously conveyed as it could have been. Look to improve on facial expressions and performing with confidence!
Amelia Wilkins – Great start, created suspense and performed with confidence. Good that you thought about using the stage. Cara & Megan – You have loads of talent with lovely vocals and tone, perhaps consider singing more diverse harmonies to really layer up the vocals as it can come across a little sleepy. Excel Dance – Great entrance, the start made it really unique with the lights which was both novel and entertaining! Some big moves made the performance go up a level! Look to really tightening and perfecting your performance all the way through!

Kadey – You looked very smart and you have a distinct vocal with a good vocal range. The song choice suited your vocal well. Frankie’s Dancers – Strong music choices and costumes. Coordinated superbly but maybe lacked some of the big moves some of the other dance groups had some members doing like the lifts, jumps etc. Look to add these to really bring the wow factor for your audience! Liked the use of props to give lots of colour at the end.
Lydia Milburn – Beautiful performance, can’t fault the vocal with good diction and great power in the projection. Don’t think like other opera singers and do the same performance, take it somewhere new and make it unique and your own performance!
Katy Smith – Great choice and rendition of song. Good use of the chair prop. Your performance was engaging and a lovely interpretation of the music and emotion within that song. Good change in dynamics as the tempo of the music intensifies. An overall emotional performance!
Okeam Briscoe – It felt as if you were very comfortable with the song and had more to give like it was effortless! You connected well to the emotion within the song a performance with a lot of soul. A powerful performance with lots of emotion.

UNTAMED – It was a cool, well-coordinated performance with high energy. Loved the music, choreography and use of different styles. Look to bring even more facial expressions to engage more with your audience! A tight performance that was a real crowd pleaser!

Roadstead – Brilliant performance! Good connection between you as performers. You have improved every time in the competition and saved your best for the final. Song was catchy and sounding familiar! Great use of harmonies and you both have strong vocals as individuals. Well done!
Vanessa – Brilliantly professional to keep going even when your CD backing track cut out, only to get one of the biggest applauses of the night!
