Sanjna – Lovely tone but need to commit more to the performance and in particular your facial expression and take the mic off the stand and work that stage. Always a time and a place for audience participation click here for when and when not to get the audience involved in your performance. Your vocal tone is similar to Ella’s which is a lovely thing.
Jamie-Lee – Lovely song. Well delivered. You’re got a really engaging voice. Nice to see someone put their own flare on the song. Careful to avoid Robyn songs as you sound similar to her so it makes it difficult for you to stand out, click here for good audition songs. The guitar definitely gives a live feel that you can’t create with a backing track.
Olivia Ward – You have a lovely presence but you need to perform more and in particular in the instrumental sections, click here for tips on the instrumentals. You seemed to lack focus as the performance went on and lost your tuning on occasions. More performance and working with a good vocal coach will help you keep in the same key and project more to be even better. Great song choice. Great laid back image.
Hannah Swarbrick – You picked a lively number and went to perform and use the stage but don’t be frightened to commit even more to the performance. Would have been a good one to bring in a couple of dancers in for the performance. Watch your mic control and make sure you are making that work it’s best for you, click here for microphone techniques. You look great!
Rory Connolly – Love this song! Very likeable performance! Don’t forget to smile! You have a nice vocal but the performance was a little stiff. Click here for more on bringing more facial expressions and gestures whilst singing and click here for more stage performance tips.
Eliza Hope Harlan – Confident and assured performance. Great tone and control. Look to embrace a wider range of expressions with your performance click here for more facial expressions and gestures whilst singing. Also remember to use that stage to help connect us more to you.
Out of the Box – Great song choice. Such a fun friendly performance. All about harmonies as a vocal group and performing as a group. You supported each other well vocally, just keep tightening up those harmonies. Performance wise needs to be something better thought through and worked at to be even better.
Kai Rowe – Lovely tone! Love the outfit, you look great. Don’t be frightened to use that big booming vocal more, you are being too timid and need to let loose! Better mic control would give a more professional consistency click here for more on microphone techniques. Remember to hold your notes!
Grace Van Barthold – Needed to commit more to the performance as it appeared visually to lack a bit of passion for large patches of the performance. Get closer to that mic for better projection; click here for more on microphone techniques. Good version of this song, try to pick something a little out of your comfort zone for the next round, click here for good audition songs. Great guitar skill.
Alex Jukes – Perform from the minute you are on the stage don’t wait for the music to start, we make an impression before that. Look to develop that mic control as it could be more consistent and by getting closer will only help the projection, click here for more on microphone techniques. Take care not to force the vocal and lose the control as you have good power but not always know how to control it. Lovely song choice. Smile!
Jasmine – You should really be making the most of your talent, you have a super vocal although take care not to tick at the end of each phrase. We seem to give similar feedback each time look to be creative with a cover and start to be individual with your image click here for more on music synergy and image. Working the dynamics would also give far more impact it’s too full on for too much of the performance. Great vibrato!
Rhiannon – Nice melody and sentiment to the song click here for help on writing a pop chorus. Great lyrics and storytelling. Great unique style.
Livi Lawrence – You have a big voice look to make the most of it by getting your mouth as close to the mic as you can. Use your eyes more to engage with us the audience and use that stage you are very rooted to the spot. Great vocal potential. Just watch your tuning on the top notes. Great song choice!
Michaela – You have a super control to your vocal but it feels like you need go for it a bit more and show us the passion. Liked you worked the stage well in terms of movement but don’t be frightened to give us more emotion. Would like to hear a song that’s more current, this sounded dated, click here for good audition songs.
Eva – Took a while to get going into the song and into your sweet tone. Look to develop your expression you are currently staring into outer space which makes it hard to connect with you even though you are playing and singing. You were at your bet on the choruses! Click here for tips on performing with musical keyboards.
Rai-Elle – Good commitment from the off, remember not to sacrifice control for power. Good projection and control on the whole. Look to work the stage with more purpose, you are moving around but more purpose is required. Lots of attitude! Great song choice. Very confident performance.
Zenelle-Renae - You have bags of talent but really look to climb into those high notes don’t be frightened to let go. You could also think about engaging more with the audience and in particular eye contact, click here for tips on engaging the audience.
