Kiera Crockett – Confident and sweet vocal, think about what you are doing with your hands when performing, click here for stage performance tips for singers. Try and focus on your eye contact with your audience you seemed easily distracted. Always remember to warm up fully to demonstrate your vocals at their best, click here for singing warm ups.
Millie Simpson – Need to add performance to your audition as if you were on the stage, try to use your hands and be more animated, click here for stage performance tips for singers. Always remember to warm up fully to demonstrate your vocals at their best, click here for singing warm ups. Overall you gave a pleasant audition.
Esther Griffiths – You have a strong soulful voice, but try not to swallow your words on the quieter passages. You held your head high which gave across a good confidence. Don’t be frightened to use your hands to help express the emotion in the song and some work on your breathing would be beneficial, click here for breathing exercises for singing. It was also refreshing to hear “Vienna”.
Zoe Evans – Great voice, you hit all the notes. You have good ability but song choice is everything. Picking a song that when under pressure you are totally in control is important, click here for good audition songs. A powerful, confident delivery but your technique is slightly nasal – vocal tuition would help a lot with this, click here for the importance of vocal training.
Finn Allen – Liked you used your hands to express the song. If you use dynamics and in particular a change in tone and volume would drive the songs flow and emphasis the hook better, click here for music dynamics. Overall it was a good rap, keep working your diction and delivery, the talent is there!
Abby Huett – You have real potential but pick a song that can show us more of you as an individual, this song choice is both dated and over used, click here for good audition songs. You have a lovely voice and technique and also great eye contact and connection with the song.
Annika – Remember to warm up fully especially when picking a song that is going to extend your vocals on the higher notes, click here for singing warm ups. You showed passion but also commit more to the performance you are performing- just go for it!
Lauren Sangha – You have a good natural vibrato but take care not to over use it. Always remember to warm up fully to demonstrate your vocals at their best, click here for singing warm ups. It was a strong vocal and very mature for your age, but do try to watch your pitching on the lower notes.
Tazmin Barnes – You have a good voice and a soulful delivery that shows real promise. However, never stop singing in a performance it just highlights you’ve made a mistake so keep going and bluff over it, click here for audition tips for singers. Confident voice, it was lovely to listen to – well done!
Ella Palmer – Nice clear voice and dramatic delivery. Unfortunately let down a little by your nerves, click here for how to sing with confidence. Really good effort, more practise will help with nerves in the future. Keep practising and performing in front of others and you will improve quickly. Well done!
Esme Bowskill – Make sure you warm up fully and don’t force the vocal, click here for singing warm ups. Song choice is so important during an audition to help you stand out, click here for good audition songs. You had nice tone once you got into the flow of the performance. Never stop performing as just highlights any error and we’d most likely not notice whereas when you stop we definitely know, click here for audition tips for singers. It was a very listenable, powerful performance!
Rory Naylor – Try and be more creative with a cover perhaps change the lyrics around and make it your own, click here for how to do music covers. Try and immerse yourself more in the emotion in the song, click here for how to sing with emotion. Also watch your guitar tuning, but strong vocal delivery.
Aiyana Khan – Lovely tone and good facial expression to convey the song, click here for facial expression and gestures whilst singing. Don’t be frightened to commit even more to the performance. It was a confident vocal; make sure you try to not swallow phrases too much.
Tasha Jerawan – You played with a real degree of sensitivity. Remember you can move your hands to help to convey the emotion of the song even more, click here for facial expression and gestures whilst singing. This will help improve stage presence and show even more of a connection to the song. Nicely phrased performance, well done!
Taylor-G – Nice song, guitar playing was a little thin and you could commit to play more boldly, click here for guitar tips. Competent vocal and you have good tone to your voice but your performance lacked a little confidence. Keep going, you have a unique voice!
Maria Csoka – Remember to commit more to the performance, click here for improving stage performance as a singer. Make sure you watch that those “blue” notes don’t get overused too much! Overall good effort!
Rosie Dorsett – Diction was really clear, try to bring the song more to life by using dynamics to drive through the chorus, click here for music dynamics. Performance wise don’t be frightened to use your hands and move around, click here for stage performance tips for singers. You had a few pitching issues and breathing technique needs a little work. Good eye contact throughout and clear vocals.
Cara Perry – You sung very nicely but you need to give more expression and performance as you stood motionless, click here for stage performance tips for singers. It’s important you act out the emotion in the song to take your performance to the next level. Make sure your project more when singing but really good effort! Click here for voice projection for singers.
Amy Delaney – Would suggest not picking a song that is dated and popular as it’s done so often it can be difficult to really impress and stand out with. Click here for good audition songs. Although having said that you have a good voice, click here for how to do music covers, for some tips and inspiration.
Holly Wright – You sustained the notes well and your projection was good. For some tips and ideas on how to make the cover more creative go to how to do music covers. Good overall effort, keep up the standard of your projection.
Kim Chioro – You have ability but a good vocal coach will help you be even better and in particular your tone and projection, click here for the importance of vocal training. You gave a good overall performance but as stated above work with a vocal coach will help you take it to the next level.
Maria Christodoulou – If you just slow it down a little and take your time, this will help you catch your breath and thus enable you to give the chorus more focus and projection, click here for vocal techniques for singers.
