London singing competition for teenagers, TeenStar has provided music industry feedback for singers at the Camden TeenStar auditions, which took place at Dingwalls, Camden. The 2013 auditions for the London singing competition for teenagers, TeenStar, saw the best teenage singers, songwriters and solo artists from Camden and its surrounding areas take to the stage in their bids to impress a music industry judging panel and capacity crowd. With a place in the TeenStar 2013 Regional Finals up for grabs, the contestants who took part in the London singing competition for teenagers had a lot to play for!
Judging the London singing competition for teenagers was Brian Bogdanovic from Bonafide Studio, Ridley Barbet from Polyphoneek Music Tuition, Pip Ellwood Editor of Entertainment Focus and Tina Campbell from Crave On Music.

4th Generation – Work on building up harmonies rather than singing separate parts of the song individually.
Elodie Wilson – Try to keep performing and singing to keep the flow going, but good vocal range.
Acacia Tendo – Very nervous but worked through it well, more performances will improve this.
Morgan Jones – Nice voice, but make sure your guitar is in tune.
Alisha – Good vocal, but try not to sway from side to side too much.
Ultra Violet – Nice harmonies try not to rush the performance and stay composed.
Madeline – Great confidence and enthusiasm, nice tone, watch the big notes though.
Phoebe – Try not to shout too much, little notes are as important as big notes.
Poppy – Try work on your nerves you seemed quite shy. More performances will improve this.
Issy - Nice song writing skills. Try look up more when playing, engage with your audience.
Kiara – Nice vocal, however work on singing from your diaphragm rather than your nose. Singing lessons will help you with this.
Amber – Good projection, however try and evoke more emotion.
Musty – Great confidence and great voice.
Finlay - Work on trying to control your nerves and adding more emotion into the performance.
Lily and Olivia – Really great voices and a good audition. Try and work on your harmonies a bit more.
Alannah – Good projection and a confident performance.
Olivia – Really nice natural vocal tone.
Lulu – Try not to let nerves take over. Be more confident, more performances will help this.
Tina – Be more confident and connect with your audience more.
Maisy – Strong audition. Great choice of song and confidence.
Irina – Very good vocal.
Catrina – Impressive vocal range, a great audition.
Olivia – Good vocal. Work on your timing; try not to rush through the song.
Lauren – Good performance and strong vocal.
Annie – Try not to shout too much, and control your voice.
Claudia – unusual voice, but good performance.
Josh – Try and evoke more energy into your voice and pick a song that is in the right key that suits your vocal range.
Olivia – Good projection, but work on your tuning.
Lauren – Very confident and great vocal. Good image too.
Nadine – Nice performance, work on tuning and projection.
Marcus - Seemed quiet, sing confidently throughout your performance. Great potential though.
Rowan – Nice choice of song, try and sustain the notes, but nice performance.
Tilly – Has great potential. A vocal coach would be a good idea. Great tone though.
Jace – May- Remember to smile!
Sophie – Nice tone, watch your timing. Try not to rush through the song.
Ruth – Nice image.
Red is Blonde – Very good vocals. Very committed and passionate performance.
FH Crew – Great song performance.
Priscilla – Watch your tuning, support the low notes.
Mia – Don’t rush through the song, watch your timing.
Charlotte – Maybe pick a more upbeat song that supports your vocal range more.
Liz and Ellie – Need to work on your harmonies together.
Kate Ellis – Nice strong, confident voice, try have more confidence in yourself.
Charlotte and Lucy – Great look, and vocals. Make sure your timings with each other are spot on.
Lilly- Really nice tone.
Keane and James- Really nice husky voice.
Teddy – Nice original song, try put more energy into the performance.
Fab Sisters – Good harmonies and nice power.
Charlie – Nice choice of song, try and project more.
Tara – Try not to shout too much, control your voice more.
Beth – Good audition, try and control your breathing, a vocal coach could help you improve this.
Mossy – Lovely vocal tone.
All successful acts from the 2013 TeenStar auditions will be performing at the TeenStar 2013 Regional Finals at Dingwalls on Sunday 21st April.
